CORAL GARDENERS PARTNERSHIP

425pro is proud to announce its partnership with the ecological association CORAL GARDENERS, a Tahitian association dedicated in the coral reef conservation and restoration. Our Ocean is the main source of our sport and it is our duty to do everything we can to conserve it.Our main goal in 425pro family, is to make the difference, in our quality, our products, our spirit, but also, our way to protect our oceans. We decided to actively make our path for the conservation of our planet by helping those who make a difference in our world. We are here to bring awareness to our family, friends, athletes, fans and customers in order to save our beautiful home and also, playground. The outlines of our perspective were in complete correlation with the association CORAL GARDENERS, so we decided to help and collaborate with them in priority, and it is since the 1st of April 2018, that 425pro is proud to support that beautiful project.

Here is a little resume of the reasons we are supporting CORAL GARDENERS project:Coral reefs are rich marine ecosystems found in clear tropical waters. Reefs are home to more than 25% of all marine life, including over 4,000 species of fish, 700 species of coral, and thousands of other living organisms.Coral reefs are the largest and most complex ecosystems on the planet.Due du climate change, pollution, and badly managed human activities, we have lost 50% of the coral reefs of our island Moorea.Worldwide, 20% of all reefs are already dead, and a large majority are greatly threatened.Scientists estimate that if nothing is done there will be no more coral on Earth by 2050!BUT IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO ACT!For a few years now, action is being taken to cope with this problem and to SAVE the coral reefs, through Education and Coral Reef Restauration! The idea is to transplanting coral cuttings into threatened areas of the reef. Once those little coral fragments grow, they will help recreate the reef environment and aquatic life will be able to return, and strengthen the new reef.
